Yes. Wasatch Dermatology accepts most medical insurance plans for medical and surgical dermatology services. If we are in-network with your insurer, we will file the claim on your behalf.

• Physician Assistants (PAs) have graduate-level training and can diagnose, treat, prescribe medications, and assist with surgeries under the supervision of a physician.
• Nurse Practitioners (NPs) hold advanced degrees and certifications, enabling them to diagnose, treat, prescribe, and oversee patient care.
• For cosmetic services, our team comprises a Master Esthetician and a CoolSculpting Specialist, both of whom are specifically trained in aesthetic treatments.

Costs vary based on the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment required. We encourage you to check with your insurance provider to understand your coverage, including deductible, co-insurance, and copays. Cosmetic treatments are elective and are not covered by insurance.

Medications can affect body chemistry and skin conditions and may interact with treatments we prescribe. Sharing your medications helps us ensure that you receive safe and effective care.

If you have no history of skin cancer, we recommend annual skin checks.

If you have a history of skin cancer, we recommend regular skin checks every six months.
